JACKSON, Wyo. — During this critical time, Slow Food in the Tetons is committed to getting healthy food into the hands of community members and supporting local producers. How will they do this? By taking the People’s Market you’ve come to know and love online!
Food orders can be placed online every week from Monday at 5 p.m. to Wednesday at 5 p.m. Check out all of the goods available here. Once you are ready to shop, you can then register as a customer. Please keep others in mind when you are purchasing items that are in limited quantity. Food can be picked up every Friday from 3-6 p.m. at the Slow Food Farm Stand next to the Twigs Garden Center at 890 U.S. Highway 89, Jackson, WY 83001. Having just launched last week, the new online market saw 128 orders supporting around 20 local and regional farmers, with more producers expected to be added to the site going forward.
Thanks to a generous donation from Brent and Shelby Belote, Slow Food in the Tetons is able to offer $50 promotional codes to households in need to shop at the Slow Food Online Marketplace. One22 is working to distribute these discounts to clients in need of support.
Slow Food in the Tetons would like to thank Wind River Capital Management, the People’s Market Presenting Sponsor. The year-round markets would not be possible without their support and partnership.
The launch of the Online Marketplace is also made possible by a timely lead gift from The Community Foundation of Jackson Hole through their Emergency Response Fund, which was created to support local farmers and provide healthy food to the community during this crisis.
