JACKSON, Wyo. — Teton County/Jackson Parks & Recreation (Parks & Rec) is encouraging community members to participate in its winter services survey.

According to Parks & Rec, the Winter Service Levels 2024/2025 Survey will provide feedback to staff on “what went well this winter and areas for improvements.” The survey asks a series of questions about topics including frequency of trail/pathway use, favorite ice rink, trail grooming preferences, the accessibility of sidewalks, etc.

“Your participation will allow us to continue to provide service levels consistent with the needs of the community,” Parks & Rec said via press release.

The winter survey is open until Friday, May 16, and it can be accessed in English or Spanish.

Parks & Rec is also preparing for the upcoming season by providing the following spring and summer operations:

  • The Wilson and South Park Boat ramps are open and accessible to the public. Early season conditions exist along with cold water temperatures. Boaters are reminded to “know before you go” and to boat responsibly.
  • Seasonal restrooms at Town and County Parks will open on Thursday, May 1.
  • The Town Square Easter Egg Hunt is on Saturday, April 19.
  • The Dog Park at the Teton County Fairgrounds will be taken down during the last week of April. Staff will announce a specific date when it has been determined.
