JACKSON, Wyo. — With recent snowfall, snow depths around the valley and drainages are sufficient enough to utilize the Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation Department’s PistenBully PB100. Beginning tomorrow Nov. 29, Parks and Rec will implement its normal seasonal grooming schedule with a few modifications.

“The Pistenbully is back up and running,” Parks and Rec announced via Twitter. “[We] will start our normal grooming schedule tomorrow with Cache, Game and Three Creek pathway.”

Currently, there are horses in the pasture at May Park so grooming will be delayed until they leave.

Parks and Rec staff groom Tuesday through Saturday with the assistance of Bushong Property Services on Mondays up Cache Creek to Noker Draw. Seasonal grooming occurs generally from Dec. 15 to March 15 each year. The 2022/23 Grooming Schedule is as follows:

If changes are made they will be noted on the grooming report as soon as possible. Grooming will be canceled in the upper section of Cache Creek and all of Game Creek if low-elevation avalanche danger is above moderate according to the Bridger Teton Avalanche Center forecast.
