UNITED STATES — Don’t put away the baking supplies just yet.
The National Park Service (NPS) recently shared a video to its social media channels demonstrating the fun of baking bison-shaped gingerbread cookies, complete with a winking suggestion to design cookie stacks that can drop sprinkles out of their rears.
“For that cheeky surprise, double or triple up the cookies to add space for filling, so when you give it a gentle shake, out comes some festive cheer!” NPS captioned the video. “P.S. Do not approach or shake a real bison unless you want to sprinkle your own pants.”
When observing non-cookie bison in the national parks, be sure to give them at least 25 yards of space.
