JACKSON, Wyo. — When the clock strikes midnight, overnight parking is allowed on Jackson streets for the summer season.

No need to finagle the cars in the driveway until Nov. 1!

April 15 marks the end of the winter parking restrictions. During the summer months, cars are permitted to be parked up to 72 hours at a time on public streets, excluding the downtown area.

Downtown parking areas allow for 3-hour parking.

The Public Parking Garage located at the intersection of Millward Street and Simpson Avenue allows for parking up to 48 hours at a time.

There are also free parking lots located at three locations in town:

  1. Home Ranch Welcome Center located at the intersection of Cache Street and Gill Avenue.
  2. Deloney Public Restroom & Bus Shelter located at the intersection of Willow Street and Deloney Avenue.
  3. Miller Park Parking Lot and Public Restroom located at the intersection of Jackson Street and Deloney Avenue, and Millward Street and Deloney Avenue.

All three parking areas do not allow for overnight parking. Parking is not allowed between the hours of 2 a.m. to 7 a.m at those locations.
