Old West Brew Fest features 27 breweries battling for best beer...and you are the judge Buckrail - Jackson Hole, news

JACKSON HOLE, WYO – Maybe the best part about the Old West Brew Fest is that you get to be the judge. Top brewers from around the region will be bringing the best of their best pale ales, lagers, porters, stouts, and other small-batch craft beers to the annual event.

So many choices to be made at Old West Brew Fest.

Who wins the Golden Boot? Whoever you like best, that’s who. Such power.

Or, another cool thing about the Brew Fest is the location. You’ll be under a tent, just in case unpredictable Wyoming spring weather decides to not cooperate. Also, you’re smack dab in the middle of all the activities! Right there on the Town Square where it’s all happening. You won’t miss a thing as you enjoy a frosty mug of beer, including numerous dining options to go along with that brew.

These are all good reasons to join in the fun but, okay, we admit the best reason is the beer. You better pace yourself and please don’t try to be a hero. You can’t do it all alone.

Old West Brew Fest participants include 27 brewers and counting. That’s right, from breweries right here in Jackson to others from surrounding states, there will be more than one hundred offerings to sample.

The mug will cost you $25, but after that, you decide what to fill it with from 11am to 5pm on Saturday, May 26.

Want to be more than a patron? The Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce relies on volunteers to make these community events successful each year. Old West Days and the Old West Brew Fest require hundreds of hours of work and it wouldn’t be a success without dozens of dedicated volunteers.

You will see them selling tokens, helping brewers, collecting votes, and generally being cheerful ambassadors of Jackson Hole. They could always use another hand. Why not ask the Chamber about volunteering this weekend?
