YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK, Wyo. — The Old Faithful Snow Lodge opens to guests on April 28 for the summer season.

The Snow Lodge has been closed since March 5 for off season. In winter, over-snow transportation is required to access the hotel, but for the spring and summer visitors can access it with personal vehicles.

The Snow Lodge provides access to iconic Yellowstone National Park scenic features including the Old Faithful Geyser, Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, Mammoth Hot Springs, Firehole Canyon and the Lone Star Geyser trail.

Currently, the West, North and Northeast Entrances are open. The East and South entrances are scheduled to open in May.

The Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel’s spring opening is still delayed until the wastewater treatment system in the area is completed and operational.
