JACKSON HOLE, WYO – Dike walkers are urged to be on the lookout for heavy equipment traffic along the Snake River north of Emily Steven’s Park.

Vehicles will be hauling gravel from the Walton Quarry to be used for the paving of a portion of Spring Gulch Road. Work crews will be prioritizing safety and caution, but persons using this portion of the trail on the dike should be aware of the potential of encountering vehicles, especially if they are accompanied by a pet.

Gravel hauling is expected to be completed by October 20, 2017. Signs will be posted near the entrance of the park on Highway 22 alerting patrons of the work taking place.
