YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK — Today, Nov. 15, marks the beginning of “no plow” season for the interior portions of Yellowstone National Park.
According to YNP, this means that bicycles are no longer allowed on any road south of Mammoth Hot Springs, all of which have been closed to vehicles since the end of October.
While the road segment between the North Entrance and Northeast Entrance remains open year-round to cars and bicycles, all other portions of road in the Park will now begin to accumulate snowpack in preparation for winter operations, which will begin in one month on Dec. 15.
