JACKSON, Wyo. — The Jackson Hole & Greater Yellowstone Visitor Center will be closed for the remainder of the winter season. This includes all visitor activities and programs that operate out of the center like Winter Sleigh Rides, naturalist-led wildlife excursions and Feathered Fridays.

The National Elk Refuge is committed slowing the spread of COVID-19 in keeping with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and out an abundance of caution. They will continue to monitor the situation and all relevant guidance and will resume normal hours when it is prudent to do so.

The Refuge itself remains open from sunrise to sunset. Note that public restrooms, including vault toilets, are closed.

National Elk Refuge updates will be posted to the National Elk Refuge website as they are made available. They will be operating for phone calls and emails only, seven days a week from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
