TETON VILLAGE, Wyo. — The next two weeks of Concert on the Commons brings a variety of free live music to Teton Village starting this Sunday, July 30.
Sunday’s show features three acts for a full evening of music. Kainen Kellum begins the evening with his Americana-country-folk songs from his album A Fool’s Pipedream.
Locals Batdorf and the Brother Wolf, featuring the songwriting and frontman, Michael Batdorf, have formed their own rock sound reminiscent of The Allman Brothers meets JJ Cale. They take the stage after Kainen Kellum.
Alabama native Drayton Farley is the third act of the night. He mixes country, folk, roots and Americana music all wrapped up into his honest transcending voice. With songs and lyrics pulled from real-life experience, there’s a grounded feeling to his stories, a confessional quality that rings true to those who know. His voice fills the room like cigarette smoke, curling into every corner of you, with a fine grit rasp that smooths out every rough edge. Opening for Willie and Lukas Nelson, and sharing stages with musicians on the rise such as Zach Bryan, Arlo McKinley and Mike and the Moonpies, Drayton has quickly gained a loyal fan base.

Then on Sunday, Aug. 6, Diggin Dirt and Sghetti will take the stage.
Diggin Dirt is a seven-piece band emerging from behind the redwood curtain in Humboldt County, California, and is skyrocketing through the west coast music scene. Shoveling out their own path, and consistently wowing audiences and filling concert venues, Diggin Dirt is no ordinary funk and soul band. Their sounds explode off the stage with a pure authentic energy, and once they have you in their clutches, the relentless dance party does not let up. You might have flashes of James Brown or Sly and the Family Stone, Otis Redding or Tower of Power, but make no mistake that you are in the presence of spine-tingling originality.
Local stalwarts, Sghetti, an underground soul-funk-jam band that knows how to rock, will start off a full night of jams.
All shows start at 5 p.m.
Food and drink is available at Teton Village businesses, plus outdoor concert vending from the Mangy Moose and others. Picnics are welcome, please leave your dogs and glass containers at home. More info at concertsoncommons.com or jacksonhole.com/concerts-on-the-commons.
