JACKSON, Wyo. — A new website will act as an engagement portal for community members to help shape the future of Jackson.

Created by the Jackson Hole Travel and Tourism Board (JHTTB), EngageTetonCountyWy.com provides a simple platform for individuals to see what projects are happening now in the community, and how citizens can engage with them.

The website features projects like the Sustainable Destination Management Plan, described on the site as “a strategic roadmap to identify actionable objectives for managing tourism for the benefit of the environment, community, visitors and generations to come.” Local residents can learn more about the plan and leave comments or suggestions for their personal vision for tourism in the Tetons.

“This is the home for outreach and listening efforts, a place for people to make comments. It’s designed to be much more interactive,” said Sue Muncaster, communications manager for JHTTB, during the monthly Business over Breakfast meeting hosted by the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce.

Other topics on the site include a survey for the Teton County Library, detailed information on the Recreation Center Expansion project, neighborhood plans and road rehabilitation details. The website serves as a one-stop shop for public comments, meeting schedules and notable events for civic engagement.
