WILSON, Wyo. — The rumors are true, the West Bank is getting a new Sidewinders location, in the space that once housed the Q Roadhouse.

Sidewinders West Bank plans to open its doors in late 2022 or early 2023 at 2550 Moose-Wilson Road, adjacent to Calico Restaurant, according to Brooke Siegler and Nicole Davis, of the Blue Collar Restaurant Group.

“One of the main reasons we chose Sidewinders for that space is because we felt like there isn’t a lot of casual dining on the West Bank,” Davis said.

The new restaurant will mirror the Sidewinders in town with the same menu and offerings, including lunch.

“Sidewinders is for us, our most consistent concept. People come to Sidewinders multiple times per week,” Davis said. “It gives a lot of variety to people, you can get a little bit of everything on that menu.”

“We felt like there were not a ton of casual lunch options for the working man so that’s also something we wanted to try to capture,” Siegler added.

Siegler explained that they want to gear the restaurant towards the same clientele they see in town, from families to couples on a date night and aprés skiers.

The inside of the restaurant is currently being remodeled and will have a new look and feel, compared to the old layout of the Q.

Blue Collar Restaurant Group is now a partial owner of the property. While the company is focusing on getting the space ready for opening, they are also exploring options to add employee housing to the property.

“It’s [employee housing] something we are very passionate about. We are in the very beginning phases of seeing what we can build there,” Davis said.

They plan to be open year-round, with lunch starting at 11:30 a.m., and explained they will begin actively hiring soon.

Siegler and Davis are the daughters of Joe and Denise Rice, who founded Blue Collar Restaurant Group in 1989. Their other sister, Ellie Woodfin is the HR director for the family’s Bozeman locations.

Blue Collar Restaurant Group currently owns Noodle Kitchen, Liberty Burger, Merry Piglets, The Blue Lion, Bubba’s BBQ, and Sidewinders, all located in Jackson. They also own four restaurants in Bozeman Montana; Foxtrot, Tanglewood, Hachi Sushi Pub, and a second Sidewinders location.
