The competitive grant program will accept applications through April 11 for “projects that promote, preserve and enhance” the state’s outdoors infrastructure for current and future generations.”
“Outdoor recreation is central to Wyoming’s economy and identity,” Wyoming Office of Outdoor Recreation Grant Coordinator Brynn Hirschman said in the announcement. “For years, innovative community ideas have outpaced available resources, and today we’re excited to see that gap closing. This investment reflects our state’s commitment to supporting local innovation and strengthening the health, economy and natural beauty of Wyoming for generations to come.”
