JACKSON, Wyo. — Whether you are starting your journey in Modern Dance, or returning after a long hiatus, “Modern Dance-The Basics with Francesca Romo” at Dancers’ Workshop will provide a safe space to begin or continue your practice.
In this class, you will learn to hold yourself in an upright structure but also in different plains in space. The class aims to release tension in joints and teach movement with fluidity. Explore different modern style exercises—arch, curl, travel, and jump—learn to locomote in many different ways in general space. This class is designed for beginners and also movers who desire to come back to a structured class that has an easy pace and also provides a fun and challenging workout.
The three-week class will take place every Tuesday starting January 14 until January 28 from 6:30 p.m.–8 p.m. in Studio 4. $60/ full workshop. $25/ single class.
