JACKSON, Wyo. — Pilots from the Wyoming National Guard were supposed to fly over Jackson in recognition of healthcare workers just after noon today.

But weather had other plans. The National Guard announced on Twitter today that the crew was unable to make it to Jackson and Afton due to weather.

The crew is flying across the state to fly over as many hospitals as it can to salute essential workers.

“We salute Jackson and Afton first responders, medical professionals, and essential personnel,” the National Guard wrote on Twitter.
