Most WONDERful time of the year: #WonderWednesday

This week’s WonderWednesday is a bottomless Christmas stocking of holiday fun! There are so many incredible arts and cultural events, we can’t even begin to list them all, so please visit for our full calendar of festivities.

It’s that time of year when The Rose hosts the seventh annual Cocktails and Creatives event. Shop local handmade goods from community locals in time for the holiday season. Wednesday, Dec 12, 6-10 p.m.

Visit Trailside Galleries its annual “Deck the Walls – Holiday Miniature Show”, an exhibition of all new small works by the gallery artists. This select group of paintings and sculpture will feature a variety of subjects including western, landscape, wildlife, impressionism, still-life and figurative works. The show will be on view at the gallery through December 15th, and there is a festive holiday reception on Thursday evening December 15 from 4-6 p.m.

The Grand Teton Music Festival presents Puccini’s The Girl of the Golden West from the Metropolitan Opera’s Live in HD series. Order your bucket of popcorn and sit back at The Twin Cinema and enjoy this fabulous opera and that backstage scenes. Thursday, December 13 7-10:30 p.m.

Stop by the new Jackson Hole Land Trust office for festive cocktails and a viewing of over 80 incredible paintings of the WyoView: 4 Seasons. This project involved 19 artists, each paired with a JH Land Trust protected property to observe and paint the seasonal changes on the landscape throughout 2018. Advance purchase options are available Monday through Thursday. The reception is Friday, December 14th from 4:00 – 7:00 pm.

Join Cathedral Voices, The Jackson Hole Symphony Orchestra and members of the Jackson Hole Brass Quintet for their annual holiday concert, Harmony For The Holidays, at Walk Festival Hall on Sunday, December 16th at 4:00 pm.

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is captured live from the National Theatre in London and broadcast to The Center Theater. Christopher, fifteen years old, stands beside Mrs. Shears’ dead dog. It has been speared with a garden fork, it is seven minutes after midnight and Christopher is under suspicion. He records each fact in the book he is writing to solve the mystery of who murdered Wellington. But his detective work, forbidden by his father, takes him on a frightening journey that upturns his world. Monday, December 17th, 7 p.m.
