JACKSON, Wyo. — Ready for a snowstorm to kick off the new year?
The National Weather Service’s Riverton, Wyo., office (NWS) has issued a pair of Winter Weather Advisories for the valley and for the surrounding mountain ranges, forecasting snowy conditions from 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025, until 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 2.
Jackson Hole and Star Valley are expected to see snow accumulations between 4 and 8 inches, and the Wyoming and Salt River mountain ranges might see 6 to 10 inches, and potentially more in the higher elevations of the Salt River range.
