JACKSON HOLE, WYO – Sewer work continues to creep its way along East Broadway. Crews from Evans Construction have currently made their way through the intersection of East Broadway Avenue and Stormy Circle. Work will now move east on East Broadway Avenue towards Redmond Street. Once a new manhole is set and connection is made in the intersection of East Broadway Avenue and Redmond Street, work will then proceed down Stormy Circle.
The intersection of East Broadway Avenue and Redmond Street will be closed Thursday, September 28. The closure will start around 6pm and is scheduled to be open again by 6am on Friday, September 29.
This closure is being done to install and connect a new manhole to the existing sewer mains in East Broadway Avenue and Redmond Street. One-way traffic heading east towards the hospital will remain open during this closure. Westbound traffic on East Broadway will be redirected down Rancher Street to Simpson Avenue. Southbound traffic on Redmond Street will be detoured at Simpson Avenue.
Local residences and business will have access during this project, however, access may be limited at times due to construction activities. Refer to the START bus website at www.startbus.com for revised schedule during this road closure. Pedestrian and bicyclist will be able to pass through the construction area, as the sidewalk on the north side of East Broadway will remain open.
