WYOMING – National Park Service law enforcement made two more arrests today at the Stephens Creek facility after protesters were caught on the grounds in defiance of a closure order.
Two protesters were taken into custody this morning, Friday, March 16, after blocking the access road into the Stephens Creek facility where bison operations take place. The protesters chained themselves to barrels they brought in front of the facility gate.
NPS law enforcement discovered the protesters shortly before 7am. Operations at the facility were reportedly not disrupted.
