WILSON, Wyo. — The Moose-Wilson Road is fully open to traffic seven days a week, according to Grand Teton National Park (GTNP) representatives.
The reopening of the road had been delayed from an expected June 30 finish, due to weather delays.
Drivers are advised that they might experience delays of up to 20 minutes on the road. Granite Canyon Trailhead remains closed to all access. The trail network is accessible from Teton Village and Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, GTNP said.
The updates to the road, including paving the unpaved sections, were implemented to provide for better driving, parking, hiking and accessibility for visitors, preserving the rustic character and opportunities for wildlife viewing, per GTNP.
