JACKSON HOLE, WYO – The Jackson Hole Moose will be on the ice again this weekend with a pair of games scheduled with the Denver Leafs.
The Moose are 4-0 on the season after two winning home stands against conference rivals Bozeman and Vail. This weekend’s contest with Denver is a non-league matchup against a formidable foe.
The Leafs destroyed Vail last season in 8-0 and 10-3 victories over the Yeti, so the Moose are braced for a tough weekend.
Jackson coach Howie Carruth said the team should get a lift from the return of defenseman Nate Goss-Woliner, who missed the weekend stint with Vail.
The Moose travel to Vail to tackle the Yeti again next weekend (Dec. 8-9) for their first road games of the 2017-18 season.
Team captain Brian Upesleja is the “poster child” for this week’s marketing material promoting the games with Denver. Should we expect big things from #25 tonight?
Batdorf and the Brother Wolf provides the music.
