JACKSON HOLE, WYO –The Jackson Hole Moose this weekend begin a furious stretch of homestands that find the hockey club playing a dozen games against six different opponents before Valentines Day.
The Moose will host the Colorado Nailers tonight and tomorrow. Jackson Hole beat Colorado 9-2 and 6-3 last season. It will be a good test for the Moose to see how they respond after losing two in a row against rivals Sun Valley last weekend.
Will the hometowners be in pout mode? Will they take the Nailers too lightly? Or will the Moose be looking to prove something to themselves and take out it on the visitors?
After a starting the season winning their first five games, the Moose went 3-4 for December, putting their overall record at 8-4. They are 6-4 in league play. Jackson Hole plays only one more weekend against a Black Diamond Hockey League opponent when they hit the road for Bozeman to tackle the Stingers on February 15-16.
Canyon Kids will be supplying the music this weekend. Doors open at 7pm, pick drops at 7:30pm both nights. Livestreamed by SeeJH.com.
