JACKSON HOLE, WYO –  The Jackson Hole Moose will look to shake off the rust this weekend as they welcome archrivals Sun Valley. The Moose (5-1) are hoping to rebound from their only loss of the year back on Dec. 1 at Vail. Meanwhile, the Suns (4-0) come into the Snow King Sports and Event Center with an unblemished record including two come-from-behind thrillers over the Austin Wolves last weekend at the Hailey’s Campion Ice House.

The Moose again find the injury bug creeping up on them. Two defensemen are likely unavailable for Jackson tonight and tomorrow. Both are defensemen.

Nate Goss-Wolliner broke a hand blocking a shot against the Vail Yeti. Sage Welch is also lost for the year with a knee injury.

Sun Valley boasts two quality goaltenders—Matt Cooper and first-year Sun, Bobby Bowden—as well as an explosive winger in Dylan Shamburger.

It will be an early season showdown between two perennial powerhouses in the Black Diamond Hockey League.

Doors and music (Lazy Eyes) at 7pm, puck drops 7:30pm.
