SWEETWATER COUNTY, Wyo. — A late change will mean Lexi Revelli, of Lyman, will represent Wyoming in the upcoming Miss USA 2020 pageant.

As runner-up in the Miss Wyoming competition, Revelli was chosen to replace Buffalo’s Katie Bozner, 24, after Bozner said she would not be able to compete next month due to academic commitments.

Revelli, 26, enjoys yoga, writing poetry, playing the ukulele and any outdoor activity, especially hiking and kayaking. Her passion for teaching and promoting holistic health has turned into a career, Revelli is currently a certified foot zone practitioner specializing in muscle testing and a licensed esthetician. She works at Escape Day Spa & Boutique in Rock Springs.

“Katie Bozner served the state of Wyoming well in her role as Miss Wyoming USA, but due to her academic obligations in her first semester of optometry school she is unable to miss a week of classes and labs to compete at Miss USA,” Revelli said. “As her first runner up, I have accepted the title of Miss Wyoming USA. I, and all the future productions titleholders, wish Katie all the best in her academic endeavors.”

The 69th Miss USA pageant was to have been held in the spring but the coronavirus put a hold on the event. The pageant will now be held at the Exhibition Centre and the Soundstage at Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee. It will air live on the FYI television network Monday, Nov. 9, from 6-9 p.m.
