JACKSON, Wyo. — Pickleballers, rejoice!

In April, the Teton County Commission authorized the award of a contract for resurface and repair work on the pickleball courts at Miller Park. Altitude Athletic Surfaces, out of Englewood, Colorado, received the job after five contractors submitted bids to the Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation Department. According to an announcement by Teton County, the courts are expected to close for the maintenance work from June 10 to 20.

The work will address surface wear and cracks, and will provide a safer and more consistent playing area. The routine maintenance is expected to extend the life of the court surfaces and improve playability. Resurfacing is dependent on weather and contractor availability, and is subject to change.

“For public safety and to ensure the new surface coatings are cured properly, no public access will be allowed while work is in progress,” reads the statement. “Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation appreciate the community’s patience while these important maintenance improvements are completed.”

The project was included in the Fiscal Year 2026 budget, and the approved contract will cost $24,500.
