Meet the final two candidates for Library Director

JACKSON HOLE, WYO – The Teton County Library Board yesterday announced the following finalist candidates for the Director of Library Services position:

  • Dawn S. Jenkin, Director of Library Services; Clark Public Library, Clark, NJ
  • Alexandria Eccles, Director of Library Services; City of Lewiston, Lewiston, ID

The Teton County Library Board invites members of the community to hear from the candidates during the scheduled “Meet & Greet” on Wednesday, December 12 from 5:30 to 7:00pm in the library’s Ordway Auditorium. This event will include short presentations by the candidates starting at 5:45pm.

Library Director, Valarie Maginnis, retired in October after serving the Library for almost three years. The national search for Maginnis’ replacement began in October. Sid Stanfill, former Director of Sublette County Libraries, has been serving as the Interim Director until the position is filled.

Ten qualified library leaders were subsequently vetted by the Library’s search committee. Four candidates from the original pool were selected and two finalists will be interviewed by the Library Board. Assuming a favorable outcome of the process, the Library Board expects to announce a new Director of Library Services before the end of the year.
