JACKSON HOLE, WYO – The Teton County Board of Commissioners will hold their second “Brown Bag Lunch with Commissioners” on Tuesday, July 31 in partnership with the Teton County Library. The event will take place from 12:00-1:00pm in the Ordway Auditorium at the Teton County Library at 125 Virginian Lane.
The first Brown Bag lunch took place in May. Commissioners hope to hold this event every other month.
The topic for this month’s event is Transportation in Teton County. There will be a short presentation, followed by Q&A with staff and commissioners. This month, chair Mark Newcomb and commissioner Greg Epstein will be present, as well as Sean O’Malley, Director of Public Works. Specific transportation topics include Tribal Trail Connector Project, Gros Ventre Road paving, and Old Pass Road maintenance.
The Brown Bag Lunch with Commissioners is a component of on-going public engagement efforts by the Teton County Commission. For anyone interested in the event that is unable to attend, questions for Commissioners and staff can be emailed to Billy Kirk, Teton County Public Information Specialist.
“The Brown Bag Lunch series is an opportunity for residents to interact with commissioners more directly, outside of a formal meeting in the commission chambers,” Kirk said. “This is a relatively new event, and we hope that the community will participate and help us continually improve it.”
