JACKSON, Wyo. — Lucky’s Market in Jackson announced that today will be its last day in business.
The closure is five days earlier than anticipated — when the chain announced mass closures last month, Lucky’s in Jackson set February 12 as its last day. But shelves started emptying quickly as soon as the announcement was made and the sales started.
Lucky’s Jackson made the announcement on Facebook this morning. “
“We are sad to announce that will [sic] be closing our doors permanently at the end of the day today,” the Facebook post says.
Lucky’s expressed gratitude to the Jackson community and ended on a high note.
“What we built with you, our loyal customers, was not in vain. You helped contribute to our mission: Good Food for All. We appreciate all of the shopping trips you put in, the community organizations you helped support and the friendships that we made along the way. We wish you the best, and an abundance of good food in your future.”
It is not yet known what will happen to the space Lucky’s occupies.
