MOOSE, Wyo. — Access to the Snake River in Grand Teton National Park will be limited tomorrow, Oct. 3.

Deadmans Bar, including the boat launch, will be closed from 11 a.m.–3 p.m. Boats will not be able to launch or take out during that time.

The Craig Thomas Discovery and Visitor Center in Grand Teton National Park will have a delayed opening on Friday, Oct. 4 to accommodate a special event. It will open at noon. Until then, visitors are encouraged to stop at the Greater Yellowstone Visitor Center in the town of Jackson or at Jenny Lake to speak to a ranger and for restroom facilities. Backcountry permits will be available at the front desk of park headquarters in Moose Friday morning.
