JACKSON, Wyo. — Community members will have the chance to share stories during the Teton County Library’s two outdoor Cabin Fever Story Slams this summer.
Participants will throw their names into a bucket for the chance to tell true, personal, five-minute stories relating the theme. The first event will take place on Tuesday, July 11, at 7 p.m. at Mike Yokel Park, and the theme will be “Stranger.”
The second event will take place on Tuesday, August 15, at 7 p.m. at Center for the Arts Amphitheater, and the theme has not yet been determined.
A panel of judges awards prizes to their top three storytellers.
Audience members are also welcome to participate by contributing themed Mad Libs that emcee Jeff Moran will read aloud between stories.
These events are free and open to the community, who are welcome to bring camp chairs and blankets.
