JACKSON, Wyo. — Getting into the Olympics spirit?
The Teton County Library sure is. This week, the library launched the Winter Games Reading Challenge for readers of all levels. Themed challenges lend a sporty flavor to reading activities through March 21. Readers can earn Olympic-inspired badges through logging reading minutes and other activities like writing reviews. Badges will be arranged on a bingo card; participants who complete a row, column or diagonal will be entered into a drawing to win a Skinny Skis gift card.
Olympic-inspired badges include the “Breakaway” for watching a movie or documentary that involves the Olympics in some way; “Curl in Style” for curling up with a cozy book/audiobook; “Make the Jump” for reading a book in an unfamiliar genre; and “Toe Pick!” for launching oneself into an audiobook, among others.
