JACKSON, WY— Did you know PAWS offers NINE programs that all benefit pets and their people in the Jackson, Star Valley and Teton Valley areas? That’s a lot to keep up with. The staff does an incredible job, but they can always use extra hands. If you want to give back and love animals, PAWS has plenty of volunteer opportunities for you.

WINTER TRAIL AMBASSADORS

PAWS had a very successful first summer of PAWS Trail Ambassadors and is continuing to spread the PAWS-itivity through the winter months. They are recruiting new PAWS Trail Ambassadors to walk the popular areas: Cache Creek, Emily’s Pond, Wilson Levee, and the Pathways. This is a great way to volunteer on your own time while enjoying the outdoors and local furry friends this winter. Please contact Jess at Jess@pawsofjh.org or call 307-734-2441 if you’re interested in joining our team and to set up a brief training walk.

Are you handy? Don’t worry, neither is the PAWS staff, but you can still do this project! PAWS is in need of volunteers to help the Disaster Animal Response Team modify emergency shelter kennels. Currently they have an interlocking system that is not very cooperative, so PAWS is altering them.

If you’d like more information and would like to sign up to help us out please contact Jess at 307-734-2441 or by email at jess@pawsofjh.org.
