JACKSON HOLE, WYO – Last Friday evening, road crews worked on paving southbound lanes from south of the Aspens to the north. The approach crew will not be onsite this week, so there will only be the mainline paving crew on the road.
However, there is are still more to do including mainline paving, which crews hope to finish up by the end of this week, and approach paving, which has just been a small one-way area at a time.
After all the paving is complete, crews will run a smoothness test of the pavement and correct any deficiencies before they schedule a chip seal.
So far, it’s looking like the chip seal will take place sometime at the end of the month. Be aware, the chip seal will have to take place during the day, which will result in longer delays.
