JACKSON, Wyo. — Christmas tree drop-off at the Teton County Fairgrounds ends next Monday, Jan. 31.

It is important to note that the tree drop-off at the Fairgrounds is for residents only and that trees should be completely undecorated when they are dropped off. Christmas trees will be used in the composting process and diverted from the landfill.

Residents can also deliver trees to the Trash Transfer Station at no cost until Jan. 31. After Monday, Jan. 31, Christmas trees can still be delivered to the Trash Transfer Station for 4¢ per pound with a $10.00 minimum.

Christmas tree loads from commercial entities, including landscapers and property managers, must be delivered to the Trash Transfer Station at 5400 W. US Hwy 89 during business hours, M-F 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sat 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
