JACKSON, Wyo. — Concerts on the Commons’ last two weeks of the season pumps the positivity in Teton Village. This Sunday, August 13th features the return of Satsang, a power trio creating a unique blend of soul, folk-rock and hip-hop. Since headlining a show at Concerts on the Commons in 2017, Satsang has been filling venues across the country such as the Aggie Theatre in Fort Collins and The Elm in Bozeman. Their live show is everything that the band name suggests: a gathering of people to assimilate and share their truths. The rhythms put forth by the band keep everyone on their feet and the lyrics leave them craving active and positive change.

Satsang has toured all over the country and has shared the stage with the likes of Michael Franti & Spearhead, Steel Pulse, Nahko and Medicine for the People, Trevor Hall, Chris Berry, Mike Love, Jon Wayne and the Pain, Tubby Love and many more.

This weeks opening act is Birds of Play, an Americana roots quartet including Jack Tolan, former member of Sneaky Pete and the Secret Weapons.

Next weekend, Sunday, Aug 20th, the series finale will feature the reggae legends The Abyssinians and local The Chanman Roots Band

Shows are rain or shine, start at 5 p.m. and are FREE. Picnics are welcome, but please leave your dogs and glass containers at home.  Find more info at concertsoncommons.com or jacksonhole.com/concerts-on-the-commons.
