MOOSE, Wyo. — Today, March 11 is the final day of grooming of the Teton Park Road, announced Grand Teton National Park.

With the recent snow, conditions are likely steller for cross country skiing, skate skiing, snowshoeing or stroll on the freshly groomed trails.

Three lanes are groomed, multi-use, classic ski, and skate ski lane, from Taggart Lake Junction to South Jenny Lake Junction. The lanes are reduced to a multi-use ski/snowshoe/walking lane and a skate ski lane from South Jenny Lake Junction to Signal Mountain.

Plowing operations begin on Monday, March 14.

Following plowing operations, the road will be opened to nonmotorized use until April 30. The road will open for motorists on May 1.
