WYOMING — The Lady Chiefs from the Wyoming Indian High School won another state championship title, tonight, March 6. The team began playing only one month ago due to COVID-19 but were able to win a third straight state championship.

The Lady Chiefs beat Rocky Mountain 44-29. Yesterday in the semi-finals the team beat sundance 46-38. The Lady Chiefs finished their season 4-0.

The 2A girl’s State Tournament took place on March 5 and March 6.

During the semi-finals Head Coach, Aleta Moss tweeted, We played our first game of the season a month ago today on 2/5/21. Now we are at the State tourney for our first game.

Lynnette Grey Bull shared an Instagram in support of the team earlier today, ahead of their big win.
