A message from Keep Jackson Whole PAC.

JACKSON, Wyo. — Teton Conservation District’s work is all around us: monitoring Fish Creek, helping homeowners reduce wildfire risk, supporting wildlife research and providing well test kits to residents.

On Nov. 3, voters will decide whether to continue funding that work. The “Proposed continuation of the conservation district tax” is not a new tax. It’s the same local investment Teton County voters have renewed every four years since 1998.

With just seven staff members, TCD stretches a small budget through partnerships with ranchers, schools, Wyoming Game and Fish and local nonprofits. Last year, it helped improve roadside vegetation standards for safer wildfire evacuation, supported GPS collaring of the Jackson Elk Herd and completed the Fish Creek Watershed Plan — a key step toward federal cleanup funding.

These are practical investments in clean water, healthy wildlife and safer neighborhoods. They benefit our whole community.

TCD is locally led, run by our neighbors and accountable to voters every four years. Let’s keep this essential work going.

On Nov. 3, please vote FOR the conservation district tax.
