K9 Beck ready to get to work for Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office

STAR VALLEY, WYO — The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office announced a new officer and additional certification for a new K9 and his handler.

K9 Beck (LCSO)

K9 Beck has completed his training and certification in narcotic detection and tracking, along with his handler Deputy Jim Lytle. Beck is also trained in handler protection and will receive his certification next month.

K9 Beck is a 2-year-old German Shepard from Germany. He was brought to the US as a young pup to be trained by the Rocky Mountain Canine Academy.

LCSO is also proud to announce that Deputy Lytle is now a certified Instructor/Trainer.
