JACKSON, Wyo. — Teton Science Schools (TSS) is bring its Murie Ranch Front Porch series conversations to venues beyond the ranch, including an Out & About evening on Thursday.

Join Teton Conservation District (TCD) at the TSS Jackson Campus for a discussion about trout-friendly lawns and healthy waterways. The event begins at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 5, at 700 Coyote Canyon Road. TCD’s Water Resources Specialist David Lee and Grants and Communications Specialist Cam Bahnsen will lead the dialogue about lawn care.

According to TSS, the evening will explore how everyday lawn care choices can impact local waterways and native trout habitat. Attendees can learn practical ways to reduce nutrient pollution through mindful watering and fertilizer use. The speakers will discuss TCD’s Trout-Friendly Lawn program, and participants can take the pledge to help protect the Snake River Watershed.

TSS requests that those interested in attending RSVP online in advance.
