JACKSON, Wyo. — Join the Center for the Arts and Friends of Pathways on the Cache Creek sidewalk outside of The Center’s main entrance on Tuesday, September 8 from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. to help celebrate Old Bill’s! The two organizations are teaming up to celebrate the Arts & Culture and Sports & Recreation day during the countdown to Old Bill’s Run Day week.
Old Bill’s Celebration Day will include music, refreshments and a bike parade hosted by Friends of Pathways. Stop by to enjoy an outdoor, socially-distanced gathering and make your Old Bill’s donation!
“The Center is honored to serve as a cornerstone of our incredible community,” said Marty Camino, Center for the Arts Executive Director.
“Thanks to support from our community members through Old Bill’s, we are able to program virtual events, host local and regional artists of diverse disciplines, provide spaces for our local nonprofits, and nurture our community’s creative spirit in such a difficult time.”
The Parade for Pathways bike parade will run from noon-1 p.m. with a meeting time at 11:45 a.m. outside of the entrance to the Center for the Arts on the Cache Creek sidewalk. Bring your bike and your friends. Costumes are also encouraged!
Friends of Pathways will provide festive bike decorations and noisemakers. Please bring banners and anything else you want to help celebrate Jackson’s incredible pathways.
“We are extremely fortunate to have such safe and easy access to the great outdoors in our community,” said Katherine Dowson, Friends of Pathways Executive Director.
“Friends of Pathways is excited to celebrate this unique Old Bill’s season and our local pathways network with a bike parade. We’re inviting you – our friends and neighbors – to take a break from work and home school, get outside and enjoy some fresh air and time with friends on our incredible pathways system. We hope to see you there!”
