TETON VILLAGE, Wyo. — On the market for a chairlift?
Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) has listed the upper Sublette chairlift for sale on the Ski Area Management website. Unofficial Networks flagged the news of the chair sale in their article published on Monday, April 8.
The lift is described in the listing as a Poma Fixed Quad built in 1987, running 4,108 feet long and 1,630 feet vertical with 19 towers. It travels 450 feet per minute and transports 1,650 people per hour.
A lift replacement project was approved by the Bridger-Teton National Forest Jackson Ranger District’s environmental report in January after being proposed last summer. JHMR replaced the Thunder chairlift in 2022. The last day of JHMR’s ski season will be Sunday, April 14.
