JACKSON, Wyo. — Cassidy Post of Alpine, Wyoming has been announced as the winning artist of the 2023 Jackson Hole Still Works “Spirit of Wyoming” Vodka Label Art Competition.

Her winning piece, “Mountain Mama,” will be reproduced on the Jackson Hole Still Works Vodka bottle label for one year.

The theme for the contest was “Wyoming.” Post will receive $2,000 for her winning work.

Eight finalist artists from eight different towns across Wyoming and Idaho made the cut from an array of entries. The finalists were as follows:

  • Sonja Johansen (Thermopolis, WY)
  • Brooke Mack (Gillette, WY)
  • Mae Orm (Pinedale, WY)
  • James Overstreet (Cheyenne, WY)
  • Cassidy Post (Alpine, WY)
  • Leslie Schafer (Lander, WY)
  • Ryan Stolp (Jackson, WY)
  • Brenda Swinney (Victor, ID)

The winner was determined by an open voting system. Each vote cost $5 and directly benefited the Wyoming Arts Council.

Post’s piece will enter into a silent auction for two weeks and the remaining seven runner-up pieces will be offered for sale at the artists’ discretion to further benefit the Wyoming Arts Council.
