JACKSON, Wyo. — Jackson Hole Public Art is looking for submissions from artists to beautify the new Stilson Transit Center.

The deadline to submit submissions is March 15. A selection panel will choose three to five artists for paid artwork concepts and the final selected artwork(s) will be commissioned by the Town of Jackson and owned by Teton County.

According to JH Public Art, there are several potential locations for art to be sited within the Transit Center.

“Integrating public art into a civic project like the Stilson Transit Center beautifies and humanizes a new multi-use building,” Carrie Geraci, Executive Director of Jackson Hole Public Art said. “This project invites artists to consider the unique character of the area, the juncture of various modes of transportation and to use art to promote sustainable behaviors within our unique environment.”

More information and details on submissions can be found here.
