JACKSON HOLE, WYO – Fear not, flyers, you can still get that short stack of sourjacks before boarding your flight at the Jackson Hole Airport.
By unanimous vote yesterday, the Jackson Hole Airport Board awarded a contract in principle to Jedediah Corporation for a term to be determined. It is Jedediah’s third contract award at the Jackson Hole Airport since 2006.

Jerry Blann, president of the JH Airport Board said, “We appreciate your work in the past and look forward to working with you in the future.”
Jedediah’s also operates concession agreements at the Missoula International Airport in Missoula, Montana and the Pitkin County Airport in Aspen, Colorado.
“We are pleased and proud to be continuing our partnership with the Jackson Hole Airport” said Mike Gierau, chairman of Jedediah Corporation. “For 38 years, Jedediah’s has been serving the people of Jackson Hole and our visitors from around the world. This contract continues that proud tradition.”
Gierau opened the first Jedediah’s on the town square in 1980. He operated that restaurant until 2008. In 2002, Jedediah’s received a call regarding catering for a private jet at the airport. Since then, the restaurant has continued to provide the majority of the catering to the Jackson Hole Aviation. When the airport concession came available in 2006, Jedediahs applied and was awarded its first airport contact and has since shifted its business to airport food services. Mike and Jedediahs expanded to Missoula in 2011, and later to Aspen in 2017.
There is a significant expansion project planned for the restaurant space. Rhea Brough, operations manager, said, “We are very excited about the opportunity to be a part of the expansion plans and can’t wait to get started.”
