*UPDATE : Watch the full segment here : Watch Now: Mayor Muldoon on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert
JACKSON HOLE, WYO – Buckrail has learned the much-anticipated Late Show with Stephen Colbert segment featuring Jackson Mayor Pete Muldoon will air tonight on CBS.

The feature was shot in late September by local production crew Tower 3 Productions specifically for the CBS talk show hosted by Stephen Colbert. The segment will reportedly explore (or exploit) a social media rift between the mayor of Jackson and State Rep. Tyler Lindholm from Sundance, Wyo., which began after Muldoon ordered President Trump’s portrait be removed from the walls of Town Hall.
That decision sparked a huge debate that played out nationally. The town received an unprecedented amount of emails and phone calls—many of them claiming to be angered enough to cancel travel plans to Jackson in the future.
Muldoon and the rest of the town council also declared the town of Jackson would commit to the Paris Accord after Trump pulled the US from the climate agreement.
A spokesperson for CBS confirmed the Jackson Hole segment would likely air tonight after originally being slated for Friday. Tonight’s Late Show airs at 10:35pm on CBS. Scheduled guests include Sarah Paulson and John Hodgman.
