JACKSON, Wyo. — The Jackson Hole RoboBroncs are continuing their Wind River Winter Clothing Drive after collecting over 800 items since November. The items will be donated to community members in need on the Wind River Reservation.

The RoboBroncs team has been on a mission to help the neighboring community on the Wind River Reservation.

Last year the RoboBroncs helped to start the 4 FTC robotics teams at Wyoming Indian High School on the Wind River Reservation. The RoboBroncs also found out that students at Wyoming Indian Elementary were playing outside in the winter during school without gloves.

The RoboBroncs started a glove drive and the robotics community donated over 100 pairs of gloves and mittens to the Wind River Reservation.

During the early months of the pandemic, the Jackson Hole RoboBroncs also worked with the robotics teams on the Wind River Reservation to deliver cloth masks, toilet paper, and plastic PPE to the families on the reservation.

All of these efforts proved to be successful so the RoboBroncs will continue their efforts through January. With support from the community, the RoboBroncs will continue collecting shoes, adult winter coats, kid’s winter coats, and any other winter items through January.

Donations can be dropped off on the Northside of the Jackson Hole High School, in the wooden box with the RoboBronc logo on it.
