JACKSON HOLE, WYO – With the return of the PBR Unleash the Beast Premier series to Jackson this summer, bull riding in Jackson is becoming a regular thing.
And why not? Jackson Hole is the perfect place to host the PBR Touring Pro Division event. The hottest young riders and rankest stock meet up in the Last of the Old West.
Last year’s event was so well-received, co-producer Outlaw Partners announced they will double-down this July, adding a second night for twice the high-octane action.
“We had an amazing response to the inaugural event in Jackson last year and we drew a great crowd. We’re excited to be bringing professional bull riding back to Jackson for two nights of exciting entertainment,” said Eric Ladd, CEO at Outlaw Partners.
The Touring Pro Division of Professional Bull Riding has helped make this rodeo roughstock event one of the fastest growing spectator sports in the country, making stops at New York City’s Madison Square Garden and in Las Vegas. But unlike most massive venues where these star athletes look for payday eight seconds at a time, the Teton County Fairgrounds offers a rare opportunity to see favorite riders and bulls up close and personal.
The bull riders competing will be some of the best in the world, looking for points toward a year-end championship. And the bulls? Some of the baddest outlaws in the game from PBR’s Stock Contractor of the Year, Chad Berger.
And you’ll never run out of something to do during the action-packed two-day event. The 2nd Annual Jackson Hole PBR will include an onsite vendor village featuring retail booths, food and drinks. Kids and adults will also enjoy comic relief by a PBR entertainer, mutton bustin’ for young’uns age 6 and under, and live music after-parties.
Tickets range from $50 for general admission to $250 for a VIP Golden Buckle ticket, which includes access to a hospitality tent with food and drinks, and a chance to mingle with riders. Tickets will be available online only at jacksonholepbr.com.
The Jackson Hole PBR is honored to align with partners the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar and Wort Hotel in 2019. The legendary Jackson Hole establishments will host ancillary events open to all in conjunction with the PBR bull riding.
On July 14, the Wort Hotel will host a cowboy meet-and-greet in the Silver Dollar Showroom with a handful of cowboys who will be competing in Jackson. On July 15 and 16, the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar will host the official PBR after-parties with live music after each night’s bull-riding events.
Finally, Outlaw Partners and Jackson Hole PBR are all about charitable giving. Giving back to each community they visit is the mission of the event producers.
With the growth to a two-night event in 2019, the Jackson Hole PBR is able to incorporate two nonprofit organizations that will benefit from Calcutta auctions held each night before the bull riding. Jackson Hole Rotary Club and Foundation will be the beneficiary on July 15. Jackson Hole Historical Society and Museum will be the featured nonprofit on July 16.
“The Jackson Hole Historical Society and Museum is thrilled for the opportunity to collaborate again with Outlaw Partners and be a part of the 2019 Jackson Hole Professional Bull Riding event,” said Morgan Jaouen, Executive Director of Jackson Hole Historical Society and Museum. This is a fun, fast-paced event that keeps Western traditions alive while benefitting our contemporary community.”
