JACKSON, Wyo. – The Jackson Hole Marathon is coming this Saturday, Sept. 26. Runners kick off from Town Square, head to South Park and Wilson, and then cover the final miles to the Teton Village Commons. For those looking for a more moderate bit of running fun, the 13.1-mile Hole Half Marathon sets off from the Presbyterian Church and the 6.5-mile Quarter Marathon starts at Stilson and both finish with the Marathon in Teton Village at the valley’s best running party.
Racers will be on the community pathways from 7:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. so come out and cheer them on. Maps and race information can be found at JacksonHoleMarathon.com and any locals looking to pick up a last-minute race entry can save 25% using code RunJH at registration.
JPMorganChase is returning as a Platinum event sponsor and will have their team members handing out runner packets, staffing an aid station, and taking on the challenge of racing. Volunteers from the Chamber of Commerce, the Community School, Guides of Jackson Hole, Lululemon, RadAcad, Rock on Society, Skinny Skis, Teton County Weed & Pest, and Teton Trail Runners will be keeping the runners hydrated at aid stations along the course.
With the valley just beginning to show off her fall colors, it is looking like a perfect weekend for some road running. “We are so proud to show off Jackson Hole to runners from all over the country and around the world. The Jackson Hole Marathon’s 15 Anniversary weekend is presented by the Jackson Hole Racing Company and the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce with platinum sponsor support from JPMorganChase and the Jackson Hole Travel and Tourism Board.
